D. C. Henning is a sales agency that provides performance-driven material solutions and supplier networking to fulfill customer requirements.  Serving OEM's since 1950, D. C. Henning has established a base of manufacturing, supply, design, and production partners that are well poised to service a diverse market and an array of customer applications.

Specialties:  D. C. Henning represents manufacturers that provide thermal and acoustic material solutions, insulation wraps (up to 2400F), carbon and stainless exhaust piping, silencers, catalysts, converters, mufflers, heavy-duty radiator,  heat exchanger assemblies, metal components including flanges, reflective/heat-dissipating shields and custom-engineered exhaust assemblies.  Gaskets, seals, urethane foams, acoustic composites, nonwoven fibers, die cuts, water jet cutting, laminations, adhesive-backed materials, molded insulative components, and value-added services that best suit the DC Henning OEM customer base and market focus.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Selling products and services offered by DC Henning.

  • Train to become proficient with product lines offered by DC Henning.

  • Account prospecting, development and management.

  • Performing cost-effective analyses of existing and potential customers.

  • Maintaining positive business relationships to promote and ensure future sales.

  • Reach out to leads through existing contacts, networking and cold calling.

  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.

  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule that is determined by DC Henning.

  • Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.

  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.

  • Continuously improve through lines of communication within the organization and our principals that we serve.

 

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • The successful candidate’s background will include:  High School Diploma (required) and College Degree (preferred).

  • Outside sales/territory management experience (preferred).

  • Combination of education and work experience will be considered for the right candidate.

  • Travel consists of 40-60% of the time within assigned territory.

  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record (required).

  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.

  • Proven work experience as a sales professional or sales management role is highly preferred.

  • Excellent knowledge & proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and Salesforce CRM.

  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills.

  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to audience needs.
